Born January 2, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, Catherine Ann Bosworth spent most of her childhood traveling throughout the United States, including San Francisco, Connecticut and Massachusetts. An award-winning equestrian, her big break came about in 1998 during a casting call for Robert Redford's The Horse Whisperer. Kate Bosworth figured that attending an audition would be a great experience, and the fact that the film focused on horses gave her that extra push to go ahead and attend the casting call. Top singer Shakira Mebarak (full name: Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll) was born February 2, 1977, in Barranquilla, Colombia, into a poor family. Her mother was a native Colombian and her father was of Lebanese descent, and so as a child Shakira soaked up music from both cultures; she also listened heavily to English-language rock & roll, listing her favorite bands in later interviews as Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Police, the Cure, and Nirvana. Shakira wrote her first song at age eight, began entering (and winning) talent competitions at age ten, and started learning the guitar at age 11 (one story runs that around this age, she was kicked out of her school choir for singing too forcefully). In 1990, at age 13, Shakira moved to Bogotá in hopes of pursuing a modeling career, but wound up signing a record deal with Sony's Colombian division instead. Boa Kwon (born November 5, 1986 in Guri, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea) is a South Korean singer, better known by her stage name BoA. She is active in South Korea and Japan. Her Korean record label, SM Entertainment, has positioned her to become a cross-cultural idol in East Asia and parts of Southeast Asia. BoA was discovered when she was 11 years old while accompanying her brother to an audition at SM Entertainment. Her brother didn’t make it, but BoA caught the eye of the talent scout instead.

BoaAis fluent in her first language Korean, Japanese, and has become more fluent in English due to her recent debut in the United States. She is currently learning Mandarin Chinese. BoA has re-recorded several of her songs in Mandarin and written the lyrics for several of her Korean and Japanese songs. Im Yoon Ah as known as Yoona is one of the Girls' Generation members. Their Chinese name Shao Nü Shi Dai (SNSD), Japanese name ShōJo JiDai is a South Korean nine-member girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. Yoona was born on May 30, 1990 in South Korea.

Yoona has appeared in several music videos and commercials. She gained a minor role in the Korean drama, 9 Ends 2 Outs (9회말 2아웃) and won a major role in a new drama, You Are My Destiny. In this drama, Yoona portrays a girl who was once blind. You Are My Destiny has the highest rating and number of viewers for daily dramas in its time slot, beating other per popular dramas from major Korean networks, MBC and SBS.[not in citation given] Yoona has been accepted by Dongguk University and will continue her studies. On February 10, 2009 YoonA was spotted at her High School Graduation.

Eva’s legal case with her (former) agency was finally settled in early 2007 in Eva’s favor. Some reports have suggested that Eva had to pay 6 million RMB (~USD1-1.5 million) to settle the case, but it was denied by Eva.
Eva Huang has just inked her recording deal on her 24th birthday (Feb 11) and is expected to release her debut album in mid 2007.
